Organiq GEO: Chrome extension that audits SEO and GEO of the open page

· Organiq · third-party facts carry source and date in the text

Organiq GEO is a free Chrome extension. It checks the open page and shows, in a side panel, SEO and what AI answers need to cite it: llms.txt, AI crawler rules in robots.txt, answer in the first paragraph, author and date. No login, no telemetry, open source.

What does Organiq GEO check?

Nine tabs: Overview, GEO, Headings, Links, Images, Schema, Social, Advanced, Tools. Each check shows what it measured, the limit it used and how to fix it, with a pass, warn, fail or info badge. There is no overall score. The side panel stays open while you browse and runs again on each page.

What are the 10 checks in the GEO tab?

The GEO tab checks what an AI answer needs to cite the page:

  1. llms.txt at the site origin
  2. robots.txt rules for GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, Bingbot, CCBot and Applebot-Extended
  3. answer in the first paragraph after the H1 (60 words or fewer)
  4. question-style H2s
  5. sentences with numbers, tables and lists
  6. author and dates in schema (Article, FAQPage, HowTo)
  7. visible date versus schema date
  8. text missing from the raw HTML (needs JavaScript)
  9. visible author
  10. outbound links to sources

What differs from the alternatives, and what is the exception?

What data does the extension collect?

None. The extension collects no personal data, browsing history, analytics or identifiers, and sends nothing to Organiq. Automatic requests go only to the page origin (raw HTML, robots.txt, llms.txt, sitemap). The broken-link check runs only when you click and sends HEAD to up to 50 links of the page. How do I install it?

Chrome Web Store (coming soon). Free, MIT license, code at github.com/organiqgeo/organiq-extension. Organiq (connector and dashboard) is a separate product and is not required to use it; they complement each other: the extension audits one page, the connector reads Search Console.
